We started the week off focusing on client 5 which is the en-suite bathroom design. We split the bathroom designs between the interns and I was given the Master Bedroom en-suite as a task. We were to design for the end of the week, however, other projects came up, doing moodboards, invoices, ordering products. It ended up that I never got around to it until the morning of the presentation, however, with assistance from Bally, we designed the bathroom along with 5 renders and presented on-time, with the clients noting that they loved it.

Our weeks at Bric are very fast paced, businesses can take up a-lot of your time and sometimes things like Instagram or social media advertising can be neglected or not used to the best of the potential. Myself and another intern were given the responsibility to run the instagram, posting stories, reels and feeds.

This led us to our wreath workshop which we did over the Easter break. I worked with Christy with the ownership of the task, having a week to turn it around, which was very busy and fast paced. It was a nice project and was something different to work on. This showed our clients and followers that we are more than just Interior Designers. All our creative aspects are what we want to deliver at BRIC.

This week was also the first time I did project management, and a costing spreadsheet, I enjoyed doing this task, it required a lot of organisation which is what I enjoy doing. It was fun to create a template for BRIC to use for its clients. Doing the project management showed me just how much work goes into a single room, and additionally showed me how much work I have done from the start of this placement.
